Coyote Howls is a wonderful place, it has good people and lots of things to do.  One of the reasons it is so good is because it has a few rules-rules that make great sense.  The most important rule is my estimation is the 5 MPH speed limit! Five miles an hour you say-Hmmmmm!  Well, 5 MPH means, unlike other places in the desert, we have dust, so this rule is good.  There are state rules about NOT feeding the wild animals and keeping your dog on a leash at ALL times and Federal rules about not helping illegal aliens, so, all in all, it makes for a nice, safe and happy place to live.

Most people do not spend the summer here.  There is something about regular temperatures of 105-119 degrees that people tend to find a problem.

We have lots of clubs and classes, such as crafts and art, hiking clubs and jam sessions.  We have lots of cactus, burros, roadrunners, and rattlesnakes.  At times a whole lot more of them than comfortable.

Best of all are the people.  They are friendly, kind, loving, surly, grouchy and from every walk of life.  They are literally from all over the world.  I love it here!
